Hi,

I would like to customize some Windows 11 icons that look a bit old and out fashioned. For instance, the grey gear of Settings.

I know that it is possible to change some of them in Settings -> Personalization -> Themes. But options are quite limited (This PC, Recycle Bin, Network).
I'm well aware that updating Windows 11 would reset them.

If it's feasible, I will be create a small app to customize Windows. Or is there a free and reliable freeware that can do the job ?

I read that imageres.dll.mun file or shell32.dll but the post is from 2021 so surely outdated.
