Apple Mac OS Ventura wallpapers (Dark/Light). You can download the original size without compression/modification (ZIP file). I just cropped it for 1080px.
That's more like Win 11 wallpaper in another colour combination! I like that.

The iPad OS wallpaper in Apple WWDC 2023 caught my eye! I decided to recreate an i11 OS version in Ai (Adobe Illustrator). There are two versions with and without the 11forum logo!

Preview: iPad OS original WP vs 11 WP

I think it's worth mentioning this mega WP pack here for those who love Windows original WPs. All FREE!
Ultimate Windows Wallpaper Pack

This is an extremely extensive pack of official Windows wallpapers, as well as backgrounds used for the setup, OOBE and logon screen and other images such as sample pictures, user account pictures, and others...

Recently I've been watching a YouTube video about Windows anniversary (the video was about anniversary edition unboxing). I decided to create a wallpaper based on their box cover design (cause I like that design)!

Maybe you like it, too! This pack contains two versions, HD and 2K (PNG format without compression). Of course, this is the 11F Edition (the badge on the bottom of the WP).

ssM.png

Update: I have replaced the original "Win 11 bloom" with its 4K version (instead of HD), on the 2K version.

I saw this wallpaper in one of Microsoft's Windows 11 promotions. I just replicated that. I love its style. Maybe you like it too.

Wonderful work @atinfo

Nice dedicate to the forum !

Though, I like it when there's no inscription on the image (for clean icon titles).
Would it be possible for you to make a version without them ?

@TizianoMad, Many thanks. That's not only my work! That's also Microsoft Bloom Wallpaper which has made it eye-catching! I somehow replicated a Microsoft package design cause I love the style. SS below is the source pic I captured from a video, and it was my inspiration.

MichaelMJD.png

I don't want to promote anybody's links here, but if you like it, he is "MichaelMJD" on YT. I love his videos, first, because he introduces and unboxes the devices (computers) they are from decades ago (even though I didn't exist at that time!). Second, his voice is :boom::loveit::star: without no sound effects (I am an audiophile)!! AFAIK, he even doesn't use Audition!!! Third, most of the time, he is on his Windows 98, I never was a 98 user, but I am crazy about its style and UI. 98 has a cubic theme, like the Classic theme in Win 7, which I always used on one of my systems when I was on Win 7. I know Windows 7 Classic theme was a bit more light grey.

Updated version with no text on the Bloom (!):

I am crazy about the Macintosh! I love the finder icon. one of the best icon designs in the world that has been done yet (by Susan Kare). If you like icon design, I recommend you to read more about her design works:

Also, a guy did a great job reproducing Kare's icons on Dribbble:

There are more legends (icon designers) out there on Dribbble and DA (DeviantART).

I think that's like NC. Am I right? I have heard and have seen something about that (NC) before. Many years ago I saw a colourful version of that and I loved that. I like that (File Manager above) especially those tiny yellow icons which I think are some in Win 11 yet (they are hidden in some DLLs). Is that a portable EXE app or has to be installed or is it just an emulator/simulator?

@FrancoDT
Thanks. That was a trend for a short time after Win 11 release (with its Bloom WP). Everyone was creating a Bloom WP with Photoshop or a 3D app in YT, DA, Dribbble, Pinterest... I had a try in Blender (at that time), but mine is rubbish (SS below). There is a trick! Make a fallen paper or even cloth as animation and just capture one of those frames (your desired frame). You can also add wind effect (in C4d or Blender).

If by NC you mean Norton Commander, it's been awhile. Right now I only have an old Toshiba Satellite laptop with MS-DOS 5 and WIndows 3.1 working on it. I liked Norton products but after Symantec's involvement I've stayed away from them.

I didn't even know the acronym was about "Norton Commander"! Yes, that is what I was talking about. I like that, but I don't know how it works. There are some apps like it for the new version of Windows (like WinNC...). Also 7Zip works like those apps:

ss2.png

I have a 9-year old Laptop (VAIO VPC Series), I wanted to install Fedora (to learn Linux) or Windows 98 on it. But recently its LCD died! It had a hard fall from the table! One of my friends has an immaculate old P4 (that was his brother's Pentium 4 PC), that's like a new PC. I asked him to sell me that, but he doesn't sell that!! I want to install Windows 98 on it to use for daily work (I never used Win 98).

"Symantec's involvement" I am not aware of that.

If doing that I would go with Win98SE [Second Edition] as it included support for USB 2 devices and had ICS/Internet Connection Sharing which was great for the old Dial-Up Internet service. I put it on my wife's computer and with both networked she could cause my Dial-Up modem to connect to the service. At 53Kbps [56Kbps Service] she did get slower loading of pages if I was downloading files.

As for Symantec, I quit all things Norton when it was bought out and Symantec started getting rid of useful features. Partial quote from Wikipedia:

In May 1989, Symantec launched Symantec Antivirus for the Macintosh (SAM).[4] SAM 2.0, released March 1990, incorporated technology allowing users to easily update SAM to intercept and eliminate new viruses, including many that didn't exist at the time of the program's release.[5]

In August 1990 Symantec acquired Peter Norton Computing from Peter Norton.[6] Norton and his company developed various DOS utilities including the Norton Utilities, which did not include antivirus features. Symantec continued the development of acquired technologies. The technologies are marketed under the name of "Norton", with the tagline "from Symantec". Norton's crossed-arm pose, a registered U.S. trademark, was traditionally featured on Norton product packaging.[7] However, his pose was later moved to the spine of the packaging, and eventually dropped altogether.[8]

By early 1991, U.S. computers were invaded by hundreds of foreign virus strains and corporate PC infection was becoming a serious problem. Symantec's Norton Group launched Norton AntiVirus 1.0 (NAV) for PC and compatible computers.[9] Ads for the product, with suggested retail $129, featured Norton in his crossed-arm pose, wearing a pink shirt and surgical mask covering his nose and mouth.

With the 1998 version 5.0 update, SAM was renamed Norton AntiVirus (NAV) for Macintosh.[10]

Do you mean we don't have HS (High Speed) Internet on Win 98? I mean, is this possible to share our HS VDSL or Cellular Internet with that?
What browser we can use on 98? I didn't know Win 98 doesn't support USB2 (except SE). Many problems ahead...

I can't recall all the browsers except IE & AOL, it was Bulletin Boards and Shareware in late '80s/early '90s. And I did leave out a word about USB 2 on Win98 SE, it was actually support for the drivers that came with most USB 2 devices. Win98 did support USB 1.

Had a stray remembrance a while ago, another of those 'old-time' ISPs was CompuServe. There actually was an advantage back in the day with Dial-Up versus what we have now. One could choose a different service simply by dialing the number they provided but there were higher costs with long-distance calls.

I don't know if anyone here (in my region) offers Dial-Up or not. I have seen and worked with that before (Dial-Up). We have an external modem (Dell USB-2 with Green LED, I don't know the exact model) in one of our boxes. I don't know if it is working at all! Just one question, is an external Wi-Fi card work on 98 (there is one of them in the boxes, I think its model name is TP-Link N300)?

ss1.png

I think I have to ignore the Internet, no matter what. I just want to enjoy its simple UI (98) and I love those special white PC Cases which are for the early 2000 (or late 90s), their fan noise is great. I don't know why I love all things that are much older than me (it's not just about Computers)!
