Thanks Ghot.. I found out that the issue seems to be due to the semiconductor size.. ie efficiency.
My current Ryzen 3 2200G is 14nm and the Ryzen 3 3200G is 12nm.. it's that difference. Should it be a hard floor? No.. but I'll wait to see what MS has to say before I act.

Are you sure it's not due to ability (or lack thereof) to integrate with / use TPM 2.0, or some other factor, like a completely arbitrary date that Microsoft picked in order to have a soft and hard floor?

I'm not. We have no information about it yet.

Your Ryzen 7 might have other issues that Microsoft has determined will not make it viable to actually make use of the TPM the way that they intend on the Win11 kernel to use, is what I was trying to say. it's all speculation at this point as we have the recommended minimum hardware that is supported but with absolutely no documentation as to why something is or is not supported.

i was able to install the Dev release available via the insider program to my Intel Nuc NUC5i5YRK. It's an early 2015 model, running an i5-5250U.

Before my install, I converted my MBR drive to a GPT, set it to UEFI boot in the BIOS with Secure Boot enabled. Ran the update from Windows update.

It activated fine with a digital license.

I'm not having any problems with my Ryzen 7 1800X

The i5-5250u that I am running it on is NOT on that supported list. It's working just fine. Installed with 0 tricks.

I imagine that at some point, MS will enforce the new "security" requirements.

I get the "standard hardware security not supported", which is not true of my hardware. (Checked it on Windows 10 before switching.) That, with no checks for the component elements.
