Good day,

I've got an issue which has only recently come about. My taskbar names all contain "- File Explorer" after any File Explorer folder that I have open. The example attached below would normally just show the folder name as "UD" and "Downloads" but now contains the extra "- File Explorer".

If anyone is able to assist, it would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks

Maybe it's a bug in the preview version you have installed (Build 4112)? Just a guess because you say it has only recently come about.
FWIW - I never install preview updates.

Windows Build/Version 23H2 (OS Build 22631.4112) is the latest RTM version, not in the Insider Preview.

I'm not seeing any issues with the Taskbar on my computers and I don't run third-party customizations and have Co-Pilot turned off.

I didn't say it was an Insider Preview. I meant that it is a Cumulative Preview update KB5041587 from 27th August.

Thanks for the help, I force updated with an insider preview to check and it removed the issue so must have been part of a previous update.

Hi there, my PC also started to show this problem a few days ago. May I know how to force update with an insider preview?
