i use that software also and it does work great, totally boosts the volume. One reason why it works compared to your drivers you have installed is because it uses its own drivers, which actually work. Sad that a third party driver works and the legit brands one doesnt.

After updating your sound driver, run the audio troubleshooter-settings-system-troubleshoot-other troubleshooters-playing audio-RUN

Try disabling audio enhancements. Control Panel-(view by small icons) sound-select your speakers-properties-advanced-uncheck audio enhancements
