I was wondering if there is anyway to setup the windows mobile hotspot to always assign a predefined IP to an android device that
connects to it ? Each time the device is connected to my windows Hotspot it has a new IP (192.168.137.... the last digits change each time)
I would like to make this a fixed one for that device "EX: 192.168.137.100"
My second question is: if it's possible to assign a personal DNS to the hotspot. (I want it to use nextdns IP).
At the moment what I am doing is:
Sharing my Ethernet connection through windows mobile hotspot and for it to use my desired DNS I have to change my Ethernet's DNS
manually every time I want to use the hotspot. (which also sets that DNS for my entire windows OS).
