Can anyone confirm if this restore tutorial for Windows 10 works on Windows 11? It is to bring back the old photo viewer instead of opening with "Photos" -

I don't wanna mess with system files unless I know for sure as I am also using this as my main system - TIA

I found that the reg hack no longer works but I found this software that restores the old version of photo viewer, I use it and it works just great. HTH

After using Windows Photo Viewer for years, I've decided to move on. I think it might eventually disappear altogether.

What originally prompted me to look for another similar light weight image viewer was because after enabling it, my Brother Control Center 4 couldn't see it anymore in the Target Application list.

I've switched to Honeyview. It is very light, ultra fast and scrolls through numerous image types very quickly.
