Okay, now that I have spent a few minutes cruising around the new Settings UI, I'll start by giving my opinion:

I love it! It just feels so much better than the Win 10 UI.

While we're at it, let me ask another question. On TenForums, see a message such as "3 notifications". I select a notification and then after viewing the post related to that notification I have 2 notifications so I can easily navigate to the next one.

On this site, all of the alerts are jumbled together and don't clear after I select an alert. I can't seem to find a way to change that behavior.

Am I missing something?

Not that I know of.
At first I thought it was harder... now, after a while... it's far easier than the TF way.
As soon as you "look" at the Alerts on here... ALL the tiny red numbers go away, unlike on TF.

Also... the fact that it saves them all is a "good" thing. You can click on the bell icon and immediately go to w/e one of the alerts you want... which is great for going "back" to a topic with some new information.

Also at the bottom is a "mark read" and a "show all" and a link to your Preferences, where you can disable email alerts if you want.

Like I said... at first.. it's kind of irritating, but once you get used to it... it's way better.

And I'm one of those people that doesn't like change. So if I think it's better... you can take that to the bank. :-)

They're not really "jumbled" either.
Newest are on top, and they stay in descending order, newest to oldest.


Also, the "letter" icon at the top is the Private Messages. They are called conversations.
You can have more than one person, in on the convo.

One small problem, the "Show Desktop" button at the bottom right corner is hard to click.

Other than that, the Insider Build is so much better than leaked. I am able to install different language now as previously the leaked version not able to.

The Insider's build is 100,000X better than the leak.
