I haven't seen posts anywhere by anyone that has tried 1903 yet. There were issues with 1701 and 1801. Have you tried it?
I am on 1601.

You'll probably be argued my down by certain elite as I was that a BIOS doesn't reset after a BIOS update - which of course it does :-)

Anyway, I'm like you as I too like the have the latest BIOS updates, whether I think I need them or not (y)

So the one on the rog strix z590 is older? May I ask why it says 2411v2? and also can I go about upgrading my bios now? Since I have the one you uploaded in July? I just wanna make sure it's the newest is all.. & can I skip bios versions? Like 1701 to 1903? & skip downloading install 1801.

So the one on the rog strix z590 is older?

Not only the one from your motherboard support page, all Intel H510/B560/H570/Z590 chipset based ASUS consumer motherboards support page with this "15.0.45.2411V2" firmware package are concerned.

May I ask why it says 2411v2?

Don't look at v2/v3/v4/etc... naming, that doesn't mean anything, it's an ASUS internal build version naming related to the overlay they add to Intel's tools, this has nothing to do with Intel ME firmware version naming. I'd say ask ASUS if you want more details, but they probably won't give you any.

and also can I go about upgrading my bios now? Since I have the one you uploaded in July? I just wanna make sure it's the newest is all.. & can I skip bios versions? Like 1701 to 1903? & skip downloading install 1801.

Since you have already installed the last Intel ME firmware from my thread, just go upgrade your BIOS to the last BIOS 1903.

Back on topic sorta.

I updated to 1903. I haven't seen the "case has been opened" issues other people have reported for 1701 and 1801. The other issue others have reported is that they cannot go back to BIOS earlier than 1701. That I am not going to try since I am not having any sort of issues so far and my OC seems fine. There was an update to the LED lighting firmware included. That appears to be working OK so far.

Gigabyte's last BIOS update for their Z390 Aorus boards was like that, but you're made aware of that before downloading. Once you install the update you cannot revert to any previous versions.

Gigabyte's last BIOS update for their Z390 Aorus boards was like that, but you're made aware of that before downloading. Once you install the update you cannot revert to any previous versions.

Hmm, had an Aorus Master Z390 but never had that issue. But I am not sure I was ever a their last BIOS update. :-)

Yeah i am so mad. I thought I backed up my bios but apparently it was a txt file and i had to do the cmo file ? Then it reverted armory crate on and when i turned on my pc it put asusupdatecheck.exe on my pc -.- there should be a cleanup tool to REMOVE those files and registry stuff even after disabling armory crate in your bios. Because once you hit the switch. It doesn’t remove the files from your os. Even after it is disabled! I’ve tried the armory crate uninstall tool. It didn’t get rid of the service. (Very mad the bios backup didn’t work and landed me into frustration) also iOS 17 does not have autocorrect like it use too and I am tired of manually correcting my grammar…. lol
