For @antspants and others who run this program.

Ms just doesn't know what it's left hand and right hand are doing (I've already given up on their left and right hand sides of a brain as I'm sure they already have used up any brainpower they have) -- but after saying publisher isn't included in Office preview LTSC 2024 - it's still installable as a single product and also given LTSC status. Install the LTSC Office 2024 first then the single product.

I don't use the product much but there's plenty of people who do --

Anyway here's the version after installing Office 2024 preview LTSC. (Publisher isn't included in the basic Office/2024 but installs as stand alone and is activated on your existing license). And it also is able to incorporate objects like EXCEL spreadsheets (as before) - create a link -- and updates as the spreadsheet is updated etc.

Thanks, Jimbo.
I made another post on your other thread about the same time you posted this. I agree, Microsoft are bonkers, they can not seem to be able to get their ducks in a row.

I can imagine the board room meetings where some geeky kid with too much influence is sitting there saying “Nah, call this one Outlook also, it’ll be ok, it’ll be ok”

They don’t have a plan that spans beyond a minimal amount of time, otherwise these things wouldn’t be talked about in forums like this one. I’m guessing trial and error (read peoples thoughts, scan the forums) and if not, try something else?
I don’t know I give up.

What I do know, if Microsoft removes (or puts it back, I can’t keep up) the support for PST files, I am leaving them out of protest.
Sure, there probably isn’t an email client that supports PST anymore outside of Microsoft Outlook, but hey, don’t reward bad behaviour.

As for the rest of Office Pro 2024 LTSC, when you say Publisher installs and becomes a part of the 2024 LTSC family, does it come with LTSC (I know you can buy it as a standalone)

P.S. If Microsoft still allows you to load a PST inside of Outlook regardless that you can’t use it to receive active mail, one can still drag email into them. I like to set them up as a filing cabinet for people who like to use IMAP in case their server fails or they lose an email address etc They can drag mail they want to save or deem important, into the PST.

And all would not be lost.
