On what basis do you think SSD prices should drop. They have dropped enormously since early days where initial prices reflect development costs. When will prices goes down? I need External SSD.
The cheapest price that it could find for the 2TB Samsung 990 Pro here in Belgium is currently 28.17 Euros more expensive than what the SSD sells for on Amazon Belgium. So, thanks but no thanks!PCPartpicker finds the lowest prices for computer parts, from all the major retailers in any give area.

You might as well ask why Car insurance globally is rising at over 33% a year for people with good no claims bonuses etc-- there's 100% no justification for this other than bog standard "Corporate Greed". I'm no socialist but surely there's a point when just trying to squeeze every last cent out of consumers is just enough now -- and the disgusting trend is that loyal consumers are the worst hit -- surely this means something on the behalf of consumers where even in the free world this model is not working -- e.g Water company bosses in the UK on mega millions of salaries while pollution in their rivers including raw sewage goes almost unchecked with dubious overpaid state "compliance authorities" -- in the UK these are usually called OF-XXX with loads of overpaid "Lords, Sirs, Dames" etc on the board and are about as useful as a chocolate teapot -- instead of bonuses these people (both the Water bosses and the OF-XXX members) should be IN JAIL. Plenty of other examples in loads of other countries too.PcPartpicker doesn't sell things.
And if Amazon Belgium sells it, then it will be listed at PCPartpicker, when set to Belgium.
But I don't see it listed for Amazon Belgium at PCPartpicker.
Do you have the Amazon Belgium, link?
Here's the US listing...
I know.PcPartpicker doesn't sell things.
No, it isn't listed at PCPartpicker in spite of the fact that it dispatches from Amazon.com.be and is sold by Amazon.com.be actually. And if Amazon Belgium sells it, then it will be listed at PCPartpicker, when set to Belgium.

If you're in the US and your PC has a 40Gbps port, then if you're in the market for an external SSD right now you'd be much better off grabbing the WAVLINK with the 30% coupon,I did a search on the Amazon U.S. site. The Samsung T7 2TB SSD is on sale for $179.99. The original price is $269.99.
I don't know if @MB11 lives in the US or not. They are looking for a low price external SSD and the 2TB Samsung T7 is on sale for $100.00 off. That may even be more than they want to spend. I have a 1TB T7 and a 2TB T7 and they both work great. If you're in the US and your PC has a 40Gbps port, then if you're in the market for an external SSD right now you'd be much better off grabbing the WAVLINK with the 30% coupon,
...and then put in something like maybe the 2TB WD Blue SN580,
Because it's just the enclosure. You have to provide the M.2 SSD.@hdmi, Amazon has me confused. Do you know why it states SSD not included but it also says memory storage is 512GB?
It's definitely a mistake on that specs sheet. Sellers usually just copy-paste-edit some info but fail to do it right.@hdmi, Amazon has me confused. Do you know why it states SSD not included but it also says memory storage is 512GB?
