Thanks for the suggestion. A clean install would mean reinstalling all the programs that I need, restoring all the files, and so on. From what I have been reading about Win 11 it seems it's not worth that much trouble.

Gave it overnight, but the upgrade was stuck at the same "31% complete". Cancelled the upgrade. Then the canceling process got stuck. Finally, did a hard reboot. Now back at Win 10. Hope Microsoft fixes the issue.
