This is strange that I have no BSOD... at this occurs on PC wake up.
One needs to be a digital electronic engineer to achieve such a task... and deals with DDR4 RAM timing datasheet. Also one should advise buying a logical analyzer, read the 1500 pages of the CPU datasheet, and so on ... Tune...
Ghot,
Ok I can try those and see.
That was my feeling at some point. But if this turns out to be the case, the Bios is really totally useless to help out. This would be a real pity.
Sorry but this is [NOT SOLVED]
I have two crashes on PC wake up after sleep. When I'm looking to the crash dump, here what I have ->
FAULTING_IP:
nt!KeSetEvent+1db
fffff806`0e6c5a3b 488b00 mov rax,qword ptr [rax]
CUSTOMER_CRASH_COUNT: 1
DEFAULT_BUCKET_ID: CODE_CORRUPTION...
Here is what I have
using powercfg -a
The following sleep states are available on this system:
Standby (S3)
Hibernate
The following sleep states are not available on this system:
Standby (S1)
The system firmware does not support this standby state.
Standby (S2)
The system firmware does not...
I think I found why. This is related to the task scheduler. There's a way to enable a task to wake up the computer and run.
I have backup tasks that did that by default. Let's see how it goes when disabled.
"wake the computer to run this task"
I would have liked to have a command that list all...
Thanks, but I do not think this is the culprit.. Here is how is it set. I have another 2.5 GB network card, and is the same.
Is not the "powercfg -devicequery wake_armed" command list ALL device that are allowed to wake the computer up ?
Or it misses some devices ?
Hello,
Again, something wierd, may be my house hosts a ghost that pressed a button...
I left my computer on sleep (22H2) and the next day the computer was alive an running.
When I enter this command ->
C:\Users\....>powercfg -devicequery wake_armed
NONE
NONE is none; so why it went back alive...
[SOLVED]
I did many cycles of sleep / hibernate and restart and it works fine now with 3200 Mhz
I would like to thank this community. I did not know that Ryzen 9x can "only" cope with 3200 Mhz RAM stick...
A per today, and after two sleep sequences, everything goes well !
I'll put a solved status in few days, it disserves it.
I was not aware that Ryzen 9 3900x12 could not cope with 4000 Mhz Ram sticks ...
Simple question so what for those are sold ?
Hello,
Today I just changed to 3200 Mhz
I just put 32 x 100 Mhz in the BIOS I did not play with other parameters ... I was in a hurry, to be honest. I do not know if the Bios did something automatic with the 50 other parameters. Let's see how it goes...
Thanks a Lot.
BIOS can do "Auto" ? I can recall it tries to use XMP 4000, and "crash" and put all default values back to 2133 Mhz... (i.e 1053x2)
Below my current setting. I have to change 45 parameters manually ? You have to be an electronic engineer to achieve this and understand what those...
I'll update the BIOS asap. I need to close all app I'm working and reboot the PC. I'll set to 3200 Mhz
But I need to know what to put for Cas latency to Trc, that are 5 parameters.
