    Been a happy user of FastStone Capture for probably 10-15yrs. Very light on system, lots of functionality, regular updates and excellent licensing terms. I've been running on family license.

    There seem to be two encryption components at play - Device Encryption and BitLocker encryption. I had Device Encryption enabled by default after my Win 11 Clean Install.
