It seems that the two suggestions found on this page are what I'm seeing on others, yet location is still greyed out for me on 11 Home. What else can I try?

I finally got the Wireless display feature working but 1) there's a noticeable but granted not a terrible lag and 2) the connection gets inconsistently disrupted...at times, it'll last a full day, other times, not even close. So if you can think of a way to fix the above, I'd be curious...

It's maddening. It works just fine once I reboot but at some point during a given session, it just shuts off for some inexplicable reason.

MUST HAVE ROUNDED CORNERS jk It's just a "fun" pc and not for anything crucial or whatever. Nonetheless, should consider a backup prior. What backup method/medium do you like?
