When it boots to desktop, there is a small window, says cannot ad icon to taskbar. I dont know what it means, if anything. Still no taskbar.

I have tried many tips I have seen online. Some say it is connected to a windows update. Is there a chance That MS will issue an update to fix this. Will we end up re-installing windows?

Hi Group , I booted up my Dell XPS this morning and noticed that the taskbar is missing. I searched around and there plenty of hits but no solutions. Could this be from a windows update? I appreciate your help.

I'm confused, Isn't windows defender part of windows for years , is free , and has been considered as good as any protection there is? Now we have to pay for it, and pay for Office which I dont need or want? Am I way off base here? Maybe I don't understand what's happening here. Thanks.

I am having what could be the same problem. MWB popping up in the lower right. "Website blocked due to malware." Over and over and over. Any website. Both my desktop and my laptop. I dont know what to do.

Thank you, I cant find how to hide it. How can I disable it in edge? A questionnaire just popped up about it , I said that I hated it. Not sure how a browser would control what is on the desktop

Hi group,, I like to use my own photos as desktop backgrounds. Recently, a search box has been added on top of every photo. This is very irritating. Is this microsoft again making life irritating? Or some other infection? Thanks

Hi group, When I boot windows 11, Adobe Photoshop opens and displays "not the right file type." How can I get rid of this? Any ideas will b appreciated.
