The Sonuus i2m is both Midi AND Audio and works on my old laptop got all its own current and correct ASIO drivers and firmware. The Zoom R20 has its own correct ASIO drivers installed, and are both blanked out in settings and control panel.

My Windows 7 laptop didn't get on well with W10 and blue screened on anything past creators. But works absolutely fine with Windows 11 and it upgraded to 22H2 no trouble. But do a fresh install. My old laptop never ran so well.

Dell and Lenovo have just issued fixes so hopefully Acer will follow. I understand what you are saying but I really believe the problem is Alder Lake even Steinberg are not supporting it at the minute.
