Looks like I choose the right keyboard with my K800 as I like the fact that the lights come on when my hands get near it, and goes off after a few seconds of no hands nearby. Also it is wireless and has a rechargeable battery which I forget about and several weeks later it tells me it's getting...
I looked this up to find out how different the MX Mechanical is to my K800, and was amazed that you can get a 'Storage Carry Travel Hard Case' that is just for this keyboard. Never seen that before. If you haven't got one, I suggest you get one to protect it from dirt, dust and rubbish.
One of my daughters is a journalist and although I am not good at writing, she is very good.
I don't know if it is because of her that I can recognize a well written piece.
As for doing things as a labour of love, keep doing it.
In this difficult world (and getting worse it seems) some people...
As you Americans (apologies to those elsewhere in the world) might say, "I'll throw in a curved ball".
Whilst I have always used Windows, my 2 daughters have grown up with MAC laptops.
Typically I would say they have replaced there machines every 3 to 4 years, and generally MACs are more...
Nice words - do you write for a paper?
I agree with you, but always find it interesting that there are (I believe) more lines of code in a iPhone then any PC OS, yet how often does IOS make a mess of an update. Just saying;-)
I have the Logitech K800 keyboard + Logi MX Anywhere 2S mouse, and have not had any problem with those until after my recent Clean Install of Win 11. I need to know which software will allow me to adjust setting for keyboard and mouse, and where to get it from (the LogiTech website seems a bit...
After 4 weeks working through my problem, it's time to close this post as solved.
With hindsight it is easy to say that that I should have gone for a 'Clean Install' straight away, as ALL attempts to avoid it failed.
I should have ameliorated the situation by regularly making OS backups with...
After a lot of thinking I found a very early 2017 program for the C920, and ran it to install it, after uninstalling the 'G Hub' software.
The microphone was then tested on WhatsApp and appears to work, after playing with various settings.
Will need to do some more checks to be fully sure I am...
I have just finished doing this, and yes that worked, so then the 2 'Other devices' have gone and 2 items have been added to the 'System Devices'
oddly keeping their A323 and A324 references.
I assume they weren't actually doing anything anyway, BUT it gets rid of the quirk in the device manager.
Although the company is still going I don't think they would be helpful, as mine was a standard build modified in quite a few ways.
They would hardly keep details about the builds of all their customers, especial from nearly 4 years ago.
My Win 10 PC was built in the same way and that's about 11...
Obviously my 'Audio inputs and outputs' does not include that one.
I've just found my ORIGINAL DVD that was supplied by the company that built my PC for me.
It has lots of drivers on it, so I assume I could point the 'Update driver' to the right folder to (hopefully) fix the missing drivers...
I believe I need to run "Intel Chipset Device Software", the new name for "Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility", which will setup some INF files, which enables Windows to install the correct drivers.
If I can find my MotherBoard installation DVD that MAY be another way to fix this driver...
