Well, I'm presently surprised. I plugged the keyboard into another rear USB 3.2 port and it now works. Go figure. I also tried it in one of my front panel USB 2.0 port and it worked as expected. Thanks glasskuter for the idea.
I haven't tried that but it was something that I thought of but even if it worked, I don't have any USB2 ports in the back and I don't want to run the cable to the front... but I will try it and if success I'll report back here just in case it may help someone else. Your efforts are appreciated.
Hi glasskuter, I thought you were on to something but after looking at the controllers none of them even have the option to "wake", only to "power off".
