Well, your idea was spot on. The Registry "Run" keys work. Thank you for that suggestion. Now the question: Is there a fix to the current profile or will I be forced to create a new one ... Hopefully someone will have a answer. Again, thank you.

You're absolutely right. I will do that without making any custom changes, just to see if the profile is the issue. I will make a backup 1st and report back on the results. Thank you.

I get this error every 5 minutes. After Googling for a while, I found if I turn off NetBIOS over TCP/IP then the error stops. I don't have any other computers on the network that I want to view/share so it doesn't matter in this case.

I did install the WiFi_Intel_v23.100.0.4 drive on Jan 2 but I purge my Event Viewer every week so I don't know if there was a problem at that time.

My wireless adapter is NOT configured for a static IP. My router's IP address is 192.168.50.1 And I'm having the issues again after I disabled the wireless adapter.

I think I found my problem but not sure why. I realized I had the Wired and Wireless adapters on my desktop both enabled. Since I don't use wireless I disabled that adapter and the errors in Event Viewer stopped... but not sure why that was necessary.
