Still no real change. but not going to be much i can try now for 5 days due to work.

Tried the drivers and no luck. only did the chipset MEI and SATA. i dont use RAID on anything other than my NAS. I might start thinking of doing a wipe, but i have no optical drive or installation media.

Sometimes we overlook the simplest things thinking a problem is going to be more complicated. I will try that now then give the drivers a try.

Its all my own fault😭 since i got it back from the shop in Jan i have not had any system restore points to roll back too. So i do appreciate any and all help.

I have already ran "Intel® Driver & Support Assistant" and it shows no updates for my system. the ASUS website is the same for my MOBO. no drivers.

all ports are enabled. i even tried to disable them and just have 1 active but still the same issue.

Where is that located. i looked in my device manager to check the version but could not see it. But if its a storage driver issue would that not only affect the ports when trying to plug in flash drives? not all devices

only the ports at #3 work. i tried going into the BIOS and disabling all ports but left one at a time active to see if that would help but no change.

i have removed all USB hub references and the one at the bottom showing the fault. also the last image is with hidden selected. this one is immediately after reboot, before anything has been plugged in.

I cannot see any options in the BIOS to set XHCI, i updated to second most recent BIOS to make sure ( most recent would not work for some reason) on the ASUS website the chipset drivers installed are the most recent. its not a flash drive i am having issues with, its anything in any of the USB...
