Yep, very relieved it wasn't another one of these... I checked task manager a few times(had it in the post initially), Windows Module Installer was using 10-12%. I was just worried it had gotten stuck somewhere and tried doing the same thing over and over since it was supposed to be a small...

Finally got past it after close to 40 minutes, then it went to 71% and finally 100%. Seriously never experienced that before. This wasn't even supposed to be a big update? Installed every prior update so there shouldn't have been anything accumulated since last month's update... Ran sfc /scannow...

KB5034123 has been stuck at 70% installing for over half an hour in the settings app now... Anyone else? Never taken this long for a Patch Tuesday update before.

You sure? My current driver is dated 2022-07-21. Card in question is a Realtek RTL8125B.

My motherboard manufacturer just posted these to their support page. But when I run setup.exe, it won't let me modify the installation? Just reinstall or remove. I'm on 1125.10.720.2022 right now.

Now I got an update for "Xbox Game Bar" itself, hopefully that at least fixed the "Plugin" package. Windows Defender gets updated through the Store? Never seen that. But for me they download and "install" fine, just keeps re-appearing after exactly a day has gone.

This started happening to me about a month or so ago for these apps: Xbox TCUI, Xbox Identity Provider, Xbox Game Bar Plugin Did it get fixed by itself for anyone? I see threads with the same apps and issue spanning almost a year back around the web...

I updated Windows to 22621.2428 and the Nvidia drivers to 537.58(with the clean install option on!) yesterday. But no change, Night Light missed today as well... :( I'm really at my wits end here, is there anything else I can try? Are there logs for Night Light somewhere in event viewer?

I've tried everything short of reinstalling Windows apart from messing with the registry or re-installing the GPU driver. Hopefully the update on Tuesday might help, but if it doesn't I'll try a driver reinstall.
