Night light won't turn on automatically lately

I noticed a few days ago that Night light never came on despite being on the "Sunset to sunrise" schedule, it was "Off until {sunset-time}" which it had already passed. Only when I cycled between scheduled and that option did it finally kick in. I believe I've seen this once before, so I wrote it off. But the next day, the same thing happened again... And so far it only came on automatically yesterday after I restarted due to the KB5030310 update.

I'm not entirely sure if it occurred after updating to KB5030219 two weeks ago as I left my PC for a while shortly after. But what I did do the day before this started was updating the Nvidia drivers to the latest version(GRD 537.42). Although I can't find any posts in their official feedback thread for the driver about anyone else experiencing the same issue, nor online.

I ran sfc /scannow and DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth the other day, but the only corruption it found was "BthHfEnum.sys", which it successfully repaired. Although I saw the same file corruption today when I re-ran it? Not sure if it's related or I should be concerned about that.

Is anyone else with the current Windows 11 update(s) and Nvidia driver seeing the same thing, or what's going on here?

I updated Windows to 22621.2428 and the Nvidia drivers to 537.58(with the clean install option on!) yesterday. But no change, Night Light missed today as well... :(

I'm really at my wits end here, is there anything else I can try? Are there logs for Night Light somewhere in event viewer?

Weird, turning off HDR made Night Light turn on? I was a bit inpatient clicking around which made it jump straight to 100% on, although the toggle was on. But this started happening with my older non-HDR monitor, so it's possible the HDR toggle just made Night Light double check like when I manually switch and not being the root problem.

I tried re-installing my GPU driver with DDU yesterday, officially crossing off everything on that list apart from reinstall. Yesterday it also came on when it was supposed to, but today it was off when I booted and didn't turn on despite being several hours after schedule... Really got no clue, and I still can't find any similar threads around the web around the same time as my issues started not after.

After I used DDU, it finally started working on schedule again. But then after I updated to the latest Nvidia drivers last night, it wouldn't come on automatically today...

I honestly don't know what to do from here. I can't find any other thread or Nvidia user with this problem and I can't keep using DDU every drive update just to make this feature work.
