Thanks.........Fixed now......it was something to do with screen resolution......for some reason it had changed to too hjigh......changed it, and all is good now......

Yesterday my Desktop Icons reverted to large.....and I can't get them back to medium or small......what's going on ?.....

Well, thanks for all the help, and suggestions, but I have decided to keep running W10 on the Dell Latitude......tried Rufus, and Flyoobe to no avail........

It doesn't seem to make any difference, if it's on Legacy boot, or UEFI boot.......still get the same message........Invalid Partition Table......

Well, not a very good start at upgrading to W11.......stuck the flash drive in, pressed F12, and it comes up Invalid Partition Table.......can someone explain what this means please ?.......and possibly walk me through the correct BIOS settings..........

I have to admit that I gave up on it too soon.........I will have to check the specs. for it........just wondering if it's worth trying to upgrade it back to W11......I have the W11 OS on a flash drive, which I created using RUFUS.......

Thanks for that, I have updated my specs......the Lattitude wouldn't update from 23H2 to 24H2, so I installed W10 on that machine........the perils of buying secondhand laptops I'm afraid........

Well, I downloaded the Entitlement Package.....set it in motion.....and now we are running version 25H2......Many thanks to all who replied........

Well, it's very strange.....when I try to update from 24H2 to 25H2 it tells me that this machine is NOT compatible.....and yet it runs 24H2 ??........I bought this Dell Precision M4800 as a refurbished laptop, so don't really know how it runs 24H2.......on checking it does say that no TPM is...

Thanks for that......I might just do that........I wonder why I didn't get the 25H2 update ?........maybe my settings were wrong all along ?.....

Well, all is almost good !!......I went into "Services.msc" and changed Windows Update from "Manual" to "Automatic"...........it's now up to date.....apart from still being version 24H2......work in progress.......

Well from one problem to another........Security Update KB5074109 will NOT install.......it just sits there at 0%.......any help welcomed......

Thanks for that.......I don't know how, or why, but without doing the above, the Resume Updates button has re-appeared !!........I notice from looking at the Installed Updates that it hasn't updated since November 2025......would that be why I haven't had the 25H2 update ?..........
