Thank you but previously the features I mentioned worked very well. I can connect to wifi with my laptop and broadcast a hotspot for other devices to connect to. The same goes for the "wireless display" aka "connect" feature. Works fine until I discover it's broken.

Thank you but it seems mine is not. I use the 'wireless display' feature and project my smartphone screen onto my laptop. I understand what you mean by "wireless display adapter". I can't test it now but it's not what I mentioned. I have also tried things like resetting the network adapter...
