I have an HP Omen 17 2023 model, part number CK2008NT, and lately I've been experiencing fan-related issues. This is also happening with the last few Windows versions, and it's quite strange and frustrating. I don't know if there's a connection between the fan behavior and the Windows version...

For some reason, this solution doesn't work for me. I reinstalled the computer from scratch and got the same error again. Strangely, I can't understand why both build versions give the same error: 0x800f0915.

Windows seems to be working fine, yes, I still have the same problem, but I preferred to leave it as it is to avoid dealing with it. I'll wait for the next update; it's behaving strangely. I tried the exact same methods you did, but I got no results, it's really odd. If I did the same things...

I tried build 26200.8457 and interestingly, it gives the same error, but build 8037 doesn't have this problem. It's really strange.SFC/scannow completes without any problems, but the DISM tool encounters an issue.

I reverted to build 26200.8457 because there were indeed problems with build 8524. I'll try to see if there are any problems with build 8457.

I think there's a problem with this build number. I've seen it mentioned in a few posts on Reddit as well. Not everyone is experiencing the same issue, though. It's clear that some computers are having problems with this version. Now I'm trying to fix the issues again using Windows Update, and...

I tried this method too, but unfortunately it still doesn't work. Interestingly, when I tried the previous version, specifically build 8037 (the latest part), I didn't encounter this problem. I tried it yesterday as well. It only happens when I upgrade to this version, which is really strange.

I downloaded the Windows 11 ISO from Microsoft's ISO site and then performed a fresh installation. Afterwards, I upgraded to version 26200.8524 via Windows Update. Now I've run SFC/scannow and I'm attaching a screenshot.

I completely disabled the Fort Firewall application from both services and task manager, but I'm still getting the same error.

I use Fort Firewall; could this be related? I use Microsoft Defender as my antivirus and no other third-party software.
