Hi Jen, gotta say, totally painless and quick (y). Every place possibe shows I'm on 8524 but when I open Windows Update it still shows Preview Update is available, download and install. Any idea why it's still showing up? After a few hours it finally disappeared, all good.

If I listed everything I tried I'd still be writing 😜. Actually I did find one "solution" 🙄, using the apply to all folders option in explorer but it's not consistent. At least it's not something that effects how the system runs albeit it can be annoying.

Either do I, if compact was working, which it apparently isn't on mine. Actually was the first thing I thought of.

Sorry for bothering everyone but after several "fixes" I went back to 7171.:woozy:

Installed without a hitch followed by sfc and dism checks with smiley faces. Spoke to soon, opened file explorer and every screen has small icons but double spaced. If I go to view and click on small icons it adjusts to no spaces. Any ideas?

A done deal 🙏. Took maximum 10 minutes and all running as before, no errors :shush:

I just manually deleted all of them with no problem, even gained 3gb of space:D

I opened the Edge task manager and got this. The Service worker : chrome exension had peaked at 80% CPU.

yes yes and yes. Nothing helps. I finally managed to get in using private mode and quickly got off an email to them.

It's been a week now, everytime I try to go to tvseriesfinale.com I get 100% cpu usage in Edge and obviously have to close it in task manager. ublock is disabled, even removed it. Everything is up to date. Edge 138.0.3351.55, Windows 26100.4349. Any ideas? I'm stumped. I'd think if others were...
