Folder ; C:\Windows\System32\Config\systemprofile\App Data\Local is running full with empty folders , after latest upgrade to 25H2 !
Seen this before with previous upgrades , should be disabled in gpedit somehow ! ? Cant remember ........
Anyone noticed this problem also ?
Still searching for a working solution............ :look:

Hi Garlin - Is it okay to just manually delete these or are they in some way protected from manual deletion? I have 6,000 of them in just four months. :oops:

Is it okay to just disable the task displayed in the image below, and if so, will that stop these empty .tmp folders from being created in the first place? Will disabling that task cause any problems for me? Thank you so much...

I just manually deleted all of them with no problem, even gained 3gb of space:D

You can remove them manually. But the whole point of @Tester's script is it does this work safely for you.

Okay, thank you so much. I think I will just manually delete them - it will only take 10 seconds with shift click to select them all.
