Thanks for your useful information. However, I don't want to stop OneDrive syncing, I actually want it to run, since the folders on the 2 computers are starting to diverge. My problem is the Pictures folder, all is good on my laptop, but the Desktop PC presents problems... I have a Pictures...

I'm getting confused with OneDrive. What I have is 2 computers (laptop and desktop). The laptop has OneDrive running, with Pictures, Documents, Videos and Desktop folders all inside the OneDrive folder. The desktop PC is new, and when OneDrive started, it splatted my desktop with all the icons...
