Thanks. Yes, I think that's the reason. The port does not support a video signal. My laptop has a USB-C / USB SS. That's lame.

Thanks for your reply. The adapter works. I tested the adapter cable with a Mac laptop and the same monitor. I have a Nitro AN515-55, which has a USB-C port. Any idea what else I could do?

Hello. I have a Nitro 5 laptop with windows 11. I connected my laptop (USB-C) to the monitor (HDMI) via an USB-C-HDMI cable. The monitor is not detected. My graphics drivers are up to date. Has anybody had the same problem and was able to solve it? Thanks in advance Hanna
