I prefer closing my posts. After this was posted, I fried the SSD of Windows 11. The drive was replaced, but the .iso cannot be installed because of some motherboard and CPU conflicts.
I don't disagree. It asks for the driver regardless. The attached installation image is from the forum instructions. I get the BEFORE image but the next step tells me that the driver is missing.
Please try to answer the following question.
The available hardware and software for installation consists of:
A connected empty SSD drive which is waiting for windows 11 installation.
A USB3 installation drive based on CCCOMA_X64FRE_EN-US_DV9. 23H2 label.
A USB2 drive containing the...
Question #5.
Attached are the photos to erase the doubts from your brow, and correct your assumptions about my BIOS settings.
This is the post I was waiting for. Admonishment by a lazy 5 star general, based on assumptions and old data and then asking questions. Dennis, you are not keeping up...
Question #3
This is a fresh .iso, downloaded two days ago. There is nothing wrong with it. The error shows up in GUI mode stating that it is missing the driver.
Please check Microsoft's policy on the drivers for 10th+ generation motherboards. Also, I recommend to abandon ancient beliefs and...
Question #2
You did not understand, and your post tells me that it is my fault. This USB installation key was used previously several times with this motherboard. But your first question shows that you are all lazy and operate on outdated information, even the ubermentsch of Windows who display...
As a user with 39 years of experience with Microsoft, DOS and Windows, I will entertain all your questions one by one, since I wasn't clear enough. Much of the answers include out of date suggestions, suppositions, and even disbelief.
Since I've been through it all, I will reply to each...
My gratitude to all for the speedy answers. I will clarify everything. This is an 10/11th generation Intel ASRock Mb desktop. Everything is recognized and working.
Microsoft does not include the drivers required for 10+ generation processors in the iso installation. One must use the Microsoft...
This an 11th generation ASRock Intel motherboard, for which Windows 11 installation iso does not include the USB drivers. Thus, it cannot be installed on an empty disk with the Installation.iso USB key alone. Since there is no other OS installed, the installation of any RST app by Windows or...
I do exactly the same steps, clean uninstall with Revo, removed every app remotely dealing with images, but I am missing that page and those options. That is why I mentioned that a reinstall is a must. It's just a matter of my time.
I am amazed at your comments. None of you know or use IrfanView? I am using IrfanView as the default photo and paint editor in Windows since 2005, as hundreds of millions of other users. I think it's also available for download from Microsoft. It works fine in all Windows versions. But, Windows...
Installed Irfanview and discovered that .jpg or .jpeg files cannot be assigned a default app.
I tried every posted suggestion, but the .jpg file properties is missing the 'Open with' option.
