Well, as I have said the Laptop is just 9 months old and I tested the fans and they are working. And of course the PC only overheats when sleeping or hibernating. The Laptop is on cooling pad.

Yes. I have. It states shutdowns because core temperature reached 97 degrees.

Hi there, For a few weeks, I'm having problems when the laptop sleeps or hibernates. While I'm working on the computer everything is fine, but as soon as I close the lid (power settings = sleep) the Laptop heats up and finally shuts down when the maximum temperature is reached. The same is true...
