thermal paste is reapplied every year along with heatsink fan cleaning. I am not sure on the bios.

Not often as this does not happen often, but every now and then, I will have the system on with nothing open and the fans will ramp but no processes are going on. like 3-6% cpu/gpu usage. Meanwhile when I am editing photos and actually doing stuff, it will stay cool and quiet.

It's been opened very regularly and cleaned. and I do use it on my lap at times yes. but the air intake exhaust is open. I make sure it's positioned where it can breathe.

It's a 1165G7, 64gb of ram and Xe graphics and it's 5 and a bit years old.

Why is my laptop cooking and the fans up while only use 3-6 percent of cpu? is it background stuff that doesn't show on TM?

Got into the site this morning and my laptop is back online. PHEW. I was using linux and I do like how fast and light it is, but I need the software I need to do our work. It's not on linux natively and the work around version is not reliable at all so back on windows.

I think I found the issue. Google sent an update to pixels and google messages with RCS blocking systems like phone link. That's what I got out of co-pilot anyways. This sound correct?

I have issues with my Phone Link app recently. It will not send or receive messages even though it says connected. I have resorted to downloading Google Messages as a web app to remedy this. it's not as integrated as Phone Link, and I would love to know how to get it working again on my PCs...
