I applaud your spending the time to bring your trackball back to life. I too like to make repairs but in this case I doubt I'd go that far to revive mine. Probably would just buy a new one since they usually last me several years.
I've always used this model Logitech trackball but I'm tempted...
I would be interested in replacing the switches in several old trackballs but have no clue as to a source for them of if if would be cost effective.
I'm trying to determine if the "ball bearings" actually roll or if they are just 3 supports for the ball. They are so small it's difficult to...
Thanks for all the suggestions. I frequently pop the ball out and clean the cavity area and the ball. I've never had visible hair or dirt in it. It's located in a clean environment.
I'm beginning to think that as much as it is used that maybe the little bearings that the ball floats on may...
Not a Win 11 question but hopefully someone can help with a problem. I've used Logitech M535 trackballs for years. I find that after using for a while the ball develops some resistance and does not turn as smoothly as when new. Still very usable but just takes a little effort.
Can anyone...
First I got an error message when trying to create an .iso file. Sorry, I forgot what it was. Then when attempting to flash the .iso to the memory stick the process looked like it was going OK but after completion there was nothing on the stick. Who knows?? Anyway, as mentioned above...
Thank you Sir. I completely forgot about right clicking on the .iso file and mounting it. Was then able to run the install file perfectly! can't remember the last time I had a need for this.
Having moved to a mini-computer with no optical drive, I need to determine a way to install an old copy of Quicken on a CD to a USB stick for installation. I created an .iso file from the CD and attempted to burn the file to a USB stick using Balena Etcher but it would not work.
I know there...
I saw the same but was mainly concerned the N150 wasn't on MS list. I have now found that the N100 and N200 are on the approved list, so I'm pretty sure it's good to go.
I worded the OP wrong. I meant there appears to be processors that will initially run Win11 but then have issues when MS...
I am considering one of the Beelink mini fanless PC's that comes with an Intel Twin Lake N150 CPU. While this CPU is not specifically on Microsoft's list of approved Win11 CPU's, research shows it does work.
I've read several posts on processors that will load Win11 fine but will not take...
