oh thank you so much. Installed MSEdgeRedirect and, instant cure. Click on news item on widget and it opens instantly, and IN CHROME. Brilliant. Thank you again, thought it would be harder than that. great. Mike- Mikew365

Solved Widget not opening in Microsoft Edge
I have a widget in the taskbar that brings up news and events. I used to click on an item and it would open in Microsoft Edge although my default browser is Google Chrome. Not a problem. My problem now is that I click on an item displayed by the widget and it goes to Edge, the address bar shows...- Mikew365
