  1. Cannot log on to Windows after motherboard change

The technician had no idea what to do. My last Dell was an 8940 that had the motherboard replaced, and this problem did not occur. I called Dell support, but their only solution was to restore the computer to factory settings.
  2. Cannot log on to Windows after motherboard change

None of these options appear- there is nothing else on the screen except the message about the PIN no longer available
  3. Cannot log on to Windows after motherboard change

The problem is that Windows is not giving me any logon options so there is no way to enter the password.
  4. Cannot log on to Windows after motherboard change

A Dell technician replaced my motherboard today. After the replacement, turning on the computer led to the BIOS being flashed. Upon rebooting, the lock screen appeared. After dismissing it, the logon screen shows my name, my Microsoft account with my picture and a message "Your PIN is no longer...
  5. Windows Hello not working

I have often done in-place upgrades. I did try changing the USB port, which didn't help.
  6. Windows Hello not working

I created second local account. It has the same problem. I also ran the reg file in Brink's tutorial, which didn't help.
  7. Windows Hello not working

The steps in his tutorial must be for Windows 10, because the settings app in Windows 11 does not have the same options shown in his tutorial.
  8. Windows Hello not working

My mistake. I have 23H2 as shown in the screenshot. I don't have 24H2. I updated to the version I now have on 9/30/24. I didn't even notice the discrepancy. So, I guess I am back to square one.
  9. Windows Hello not working

I posted this question on about a dozen forums. The problem is definitely the 24H2 update. There are numerous problems with this being posted regarding both Dell and HP computers. I guess that's why my MSI is OK.
  10. Windows Hello not working

Here is device manager. Please keep in mind that both devices worked just fine for weeks. The only user account is my Microsoft Account. Everything works just fine on my MSI laptop, with virtually an identical setup except 16 cores and 16 GB memory.
  11. Windows Hello not working

It is the latest update of Windows 11 pro. Both devices worked just fine for weeks. I uninstalled and reinstalled both devices and drivers to no avail, rebooting each time.
  12. Windows Hello not working

I have a Dell XPS-8960 desktop and an MSI GS76 Stealth laptop, both running Windows 11 Pro latest update. The MSI is starting Windows just fine, but on the Dell, today when I went to log in, the only option on the logon screen was to enter my PIN. My fingerprint reader and camera did not appear...
  13. Windows 11 Network Credentials

All I ever get is the network connection cannot be found no matter what I try. I am going to abandon this line of attack. Thanks for trying.
