It was just text which I reopened again and nothing happened.

While I was using my PC (simply going through my files) the second I clicked on a notepad the screen went dark and the PC made a very loud fan noise, switched it off using the power button on the case and turned it back on, everything seems to be working fine, what was the reason for this?

Have pretty much every all .reg edits that remove something from the context menu and haven't regretted a thing so far, on the contrary it feels much better getting rid of all those useless annoying extra stuff that I personally will never use.

Fixed. It's either the the Time Zone (changed it to my current location) or the Country or Region (changed it to my current location). Thanks all.

Yes did that, same problem. It doesn't exist in the startup apps, never has.
