  1. Curious about the random paired suspended tasks and runtime broker in Background Process (trivial)

Interesting. Out of curiosity, why do some apps run in these containers when they are not actually open or running? Why do some of these apps sometimes run with one of these containers and most other times not (e.g. Libreoffice, is not UWP process and won't usually appear like this, but every...
  2. Curious about the random paired suspended tasks and runtime broker in Background Process (trivial)

I was curious about these little pairs of App (always suspended) and Runtime Broker that keep appearing in Background Process. Some examples (this was all at the same time when I checked to take some screen shots for this): ... ... Background Tasks will just show these things pop up...
  3. Windows Input Experience and endless Webview2

This seemed to mostly take care of my problem: Download Edge Remover - MajorGeeks Of course, after I open zoom, even for a second, Task Manager shows "Background processes" just filling up with new instances of webview2, like literally a couple dozen of them. Most of them aren't even...
  4. Windows Input Experience and endless Webview2

@pseymour Interesting. Do you have any quick pointers on the difference? If not I can google it. Either way I appreciate the information already given.
  5. Windows Input Experience and endless Webview2

Thank you, this is probably what I need.
  6. Windows Input Experience and endless Webview2

Thanks, From what I can tell Zoom may also be hosting its own variant of Webview2, meaning there might be three sets of things trying to host WebView2 files on my computer.
  7. Windows Input Experience and endless Webview2

My Windows Input Experience, keeps launching even though I have done everything I can to disable Windows Ink. When Windows Input Experience, launches it always opens a ridiculous number of Webview2 sub process, (see image below) which is weird both because I am having trouble finding any...
  8. Can't add device on bluetooth

Ooo, army of good suggestions, let me start trying these. Thanks all, I'll get back when I have given them a proper go.
  9. Can't add device on bluetooth

Iooking into the "IntelTACD service" it doesn't seem to have anything to do with bluetooth, I get: I just updated my BIOS directly from Dell less than a week ago, and I am getting the "IntelTACD service" errors since, so that can't be I BIOS problem, I am not seeing a togle for it under...
  10. Can't add device on bluetooth

Thanks. Okay I am in Computer Management > Event Viewer > Windows Logs And in there, there is "System" I assume that hosts the errors for "SystemSettings.exe" ? Assuming that is right, looking through it I see a few errors that say it is having trouble starting the "IntelTACD service"...
  11. Can't add device on bluetooth

Currently the "Add Device" button on bluetooth in settings doesn't seem to actually do anything. Clicking on it causes it to do that brief depression animation and then it pops right back up and there is no sign of anything ever happening. All the bluetooth services appear to be running: see...
  12. Solved Dell Inspiron 14 2-in-1 does not recover from idle sleeping

Haven't had any problems yet, so I am going to assume it is solved (thanks!) I'll post again in the thread if that changes.
  13. Solved Dell Inspiron 14 2-in-1 does not recover from idle sleeping

@hsehestedt Okay, turned off fast startup. Display was Dell driver, so I am going to leave it. I also updated the BIOS though it was basically up to date. I haven't had any problems yet, but now I need to wait to see if it randomly occurs (or doesn't) and I have no idea how long that will...
  14. Solved Dell Inspiron 14 2-in-1 does not recover from idle sleeping

I just finished fully updating windows 11 after reinstalling it a little while ago on this Dell Inspiron 7440 14 2-in-1 (something I have now had to do on this computer 3 times in 2025 already after it became unusable on other versions of windows 11.) After the latest Windows 11 update, if it...
  15. Explorer can't find external drive, but it is in device manager

@Scannerman Thank you. I'll take a look at that eventually. For now I just moved everything I need for the intimidate future across from the external HDs to the Windows box on a thumb drive via the Linux box.
