i guess its repair reinstal then , as ive followed every instruction and explained that the wscsvs file on start up to the right supposed to be 2 and not 4 but cannot change it .... but thanks anyway

i did that ... and i still get the windows screenshot i posted before .....

i get to the regedit by typing in the search bar then running as administrator ....

this is all i see everytime i try ....

after i paste in net start wscsvc it says underneath more help is available by typing NET HELPMSG 2182....regards...Neil

did you mean open security centre from that power run tool or close the tool and go into my laptops settings then security ? if so then i followed the 1-4 but still no change ... thanks tho ...

hi there, ive tried everything to open windows security but nothing has worked .i have noticed though that when i go into regedit and wscsvc file and click on start the number is on 4 and i cannot change it to 2 ? i tried to change permissions but access denied even tho i am the administrator ...
