Thanks for your suggestion: both Acrobat & Office are 64-bit versions, and I do not have Microsoft PowerToys installed. I have tried a repair install on both Acrobat & Office, to no joy! Yes, Adobe is set as the default PDF viewer.

Prior to a couple of days ago, I could quite happily open received PDFs in Outlook. I now receive the annoying message below: Running Office 2021 v2408 (Build 17928.20114 Click to run) and Acrobat 24.003.20054. Has either Outlook or Acrobat changed some security setting?
