CPU temps have remained below 84 according to HWinfo64 and GPU are generally a bit lower than that, even in the hot ass space it sits in. Though, as of our current heat wave, CPU idle temps are generally in the 50's.

Getting strange maybe it's a limitation, because now I can see an edit, BUT it only affects posts after a certain point. I can't edit posts prior to, or at the start of all this.

Not trying to be a pain, but all I see is a report button in the bottom left. I've looked all over and don't see an edit option. I do wear glasses so maybe I'm more blind than i thought. WHOA, NOW THERE IS AN EDIT BUTTON! That wasn't there before. Thx.

nice idea except I see nothing that allows me to edit posts.

This is a newly built system with a clean install. Still doesn't fix the issue of a broken file I have no control over.

Didn't work. Not only that, had to use task manager to 'end task' because......i don't know....Win 11. It wouldn't close.

what it did along the way is no longer relevant, I'm back into win 11. What I want to know is why it corrupted my Steam folder to the point that I can't uninstall, can't reinstall and can't delete the folder?

just so we are clear, the mounting worked it just did some crazy stuff along the way.

It mounted and continued through the process, though it broke Steam. So much so I can't uninstall or reinstall. Can't even delete the folder?

ran it 3 times before moving on to doing the rest of whatever it did....time will tell if this did anything.

The mount thing is broken, it's just looping through the same thing, checking for upgrades, make sure your ready to install, check these boxes, rinse and repeat...

btw, i ran sfc, chkdsk and DISM
