What is wrong with WIN 11?

I don't DO Steam.
But REVO Uninstaller (free) can uninstall anything "and" can remove the leftovers...

Also, you may want to read some of this... I don't know if this is affecting you, but it's something to be aware of.
AMD 7800X3D melting issues

And this...

You may just need a BIOS update if it's not too late.
Didn't work. Not only that, had to use task manager to 'end task' because......i don't know....Win 11. It wouldn't close.

Maybe the best plan at this point, is to make sure you have the latest BIOS and do a clean install of Win 11.
AND... use backup software this time.
On Win 11, backup software is pretty much a requirement.

That's my point... something for some reason... broke in your Win 11 install.
Sometimes... ya just got to start over.

This is why, most of the regulars on here use backup software. So we don't have to keep doing clean installs.

Win 11 is still being seriously "tweaked" by Microsoft. They break things... a lot.

Me... I use backup software religiously, and I... cheat...

000000 Disk Management.jpg

Anytime there's a Windows Update or I make any major changes... I make a fresh backup... first...

Image1.png

Then if something breaks... I just restore from a backup.
I mean you can try a System Restore... but they fail most of the time.

When I install a new operating system, I do it like this...

1. Unhook the internet and any extra drives.
2. Install Windows, then motherboard and vid card drivers.
3. Make a fresh backup.
4. Do Windows updates and make another backup.
5. Install all my programs, do my tweaks, etc., then make a final backup.
6. Then... anytime there's a Windows Update or I make any major changes... I make a fresh backup... first...

Yeah... you probably need 20 reaction points, or a certain amount of posts.
Some items show when you get so many posts, and some when you get so many reaction points.

Here's the forum's Help file. I don't think it mentions what is needed to get the edit ability...

At top right.... this will switch between dark and light mode...

Getting strange maybe it's a limitation, because now I can see an edit, BUT it only affects posts after a certain point. I can't edit posts prior to, or at the start of all this.

I'm wondering about your system temps inside that interesting case. Especially with the AIO radiator fan at the bottom.
CPU temps have remained below 84 according to HWinfo64 and GPU are generally a bit lower than that, even in the hot ass space it sits in. Though, as of our current heat wave, CPU idle temps are generally in the 50's.

The problem, as stated in the original post #1 by the OP, is exactly the same as I was having with an HP laptop.
The end problem was not in any OS, , , I tried several, but in the logic of the PC itself. That PC is now destined for destruction.

Good luck,
TM
PS: If I had that PC here, I'd pull the HD and replace it with another HD with a known good working OS on it.
That would totally eliminate the original HD and OS from the equation. And if the problem turned out to be the OS, and not the system, then a CLEAN install could fix that.
