Have you tried using the latest Melodics with the latest Focusrite 3.25 on Windows 11? According to Melodics support, they said some people with Focusrite were writing in with issues.
Yes, I tried resintalling. Installation of Melodics doesn't trigger the missing distributable file warning - just no longer runs. This warning is triggered by trying to reinstall Focusrite drivers - or just trying to install on their own. Not sure why the x86 isn't successfully completing...

Results:
It seems to have updated automatically to 24H2 despite my having unchecked updates during the installation.
LBA partition still showing.
Will test restarts to see if I am prompted to choose a Windows version.

Hmm, not sure why there is an LBA partition there... maybe that was added as part of the glitch I've been experiencing? As mentioned earlier, I was pretty sure I recalled an extra partition that was not there before. Which might explain why I now have a blue screen asking which OS Win 11 I want...
