I saw the physically damaged pins on the motherboard from where I'd clumsily bent them when removing the plastic cover where the CPU goes, switching from Ryzen to Intel I had foolishly been unaware that the flimsy pins were now on the motherboard not on the base of the CPU! I didn't in the end...

Thank you to everyone that tried to help, bit the bullet and finally did a fresh install of Windows 11 :)

Thank you for trying to help but unfortunately none of those removed the "we're having trouble determining if your PC can run win 11" error, thank you anyway it's much appreciated :)

Been having various issues over the last 6-12 months, haven't been able to resolve them and it's reaching the point where I need to reinstall, even windows update has given up on me! And is telling me to reinstall! I've tried all the various fixes to repair corruption but nothing works...

Every safe mode option I choose simply reboots into normal mode, no errors or anything, so in that sense it's good ;) I've tried a couple of the options on that list but not all, I wanted to use DDU for a clean driver install, in the end did it in normal windows and it seems to have worked ok...

Has this stopped working for anyone else? I'm completely unable to boot into safe mode on my PC now, not even: will get my into safe mode :(

LOL yeah, I don't seem to be suffering any issues, that I'm aware of, by not having it installed, so I guess that's good! ;)

None of them install for me, same error no matter the version, tried all the suggested fixes.

Thank you for the reply, I ran the batch file and then in order did: After restarting ran windows update and nothing has changed: I've clicked retry 14 squillion times ;)

Thanks for that! Tried a clean boot and no difference, so yeah I think I'll have to go the route of "cloning" this iffy user profile, just wish their was a less tedious/automated way to do it so I don't lose any settings/app configurations etc. etc. :)
