Thanks for all the help, everyone. I tried Revo uninstaller to no avail. I also tried "autoruns" and "registry finder", as well as looking through program data and appdata, and removing any trace of xcalibur and thermo. Nothing worked. Im giving up! Thanks again I might try contacting Thermo.

Yeah. I tried starting in safe mode, but the same error appeared. There doesn't seem to be any thermo/xcalibur-related processes running either. I match the system requirements, yes. I'll be trying REVO when I have some free time.
