One other question/issue. I still don’t have admin access. I enabled access via PowerShell and User Console. Still get permission error trying to edit host file. Probably all the other things I tried to do above too. Just haven’t needed to go back through those. Thanks

Clean UP. Running now

Got scanow to run. Next command says clean-image option unknown

Installed Powershell,when I run it it just displays help for help on a command line and quits. See why I’m so frustrated? I’ve read and read about solutions but none of them run or act as described.

I appreciate you trying to help, but trying to run the commands to boot in safe mode just runs into the same access denied messages.

I’ll try that if I can get it to boot tomorrow. It came up today, copied a bunch of stuff to external drives. Started a system backup but it locked up during that. Next reboot back to repair loop. I’ll try again tomorrow.

What about everything I have on the pc?!

I have a boot usb. Check disk won’t work because of the permissions issue. Every solution I’ve found is running into this issue. That’s why I upgraded from home to pro. Still no help.
