  1. Right Click Folder Menu icons cropped

@glasskuter - I had a play around with scales but it messed up too many other things. @Berton - I am using a 24" monitor and it appears about the same if list at top or bottom. I think I will just have to live with it and see if a later update changes anything, so thanks guys for the suggestions.
  2. Right Click Folder Menu icons cropped

@jaree1961 Not sure if that is what I am looking for, it looks like it just does away with the icons to give the old Windows 10 menu? Although I am considering whether I should just go back to the old right click menu.
  3. Right Click Folder Menu icons cropped

I have noticed recently that when I right click on a folder the Windows 11 Cut, Copy, Rename & Delete icons are partially hidden. I don;t recall doing anything that would cause this, not a major problem just annoying to see, and how can I fix it. Hopefully this screenshot will show what I mean...
  4. WD Nas Drive not the same in Windows 11

Update I raised the question with WD Support and they sent me this.... Networked attached storage devices will not appear in Windows Networking due to: "SMB1/CIFS Network Browse" function has been disabled on Windows 10 v1709 and higher and Windows 11. Guest access in SMB2 has been disabled by...
  5. WD Nas Drive not the same in Windows 11

Yeah I just took a read of that, don't think I will try it, looks like I will have to give up on this drive, just a shame as 2TB was handy for backups. I guess as it is 12 years old maybe I should just buy another drive and be done with it. The Nas drive is located remotely for security and the...
  6. WD Nas Drive not the same in Windows 11

When you say logging in, do you mean logging in to the MyBook drive, if so yes I have done that but makes no difference and cannot see anything to set up, unless you mean logging in to something else?
  7. WD Nas Drive not the same in Windows 11

This is the adapter, nothing special... https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00NPJP33M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  8. WD Nas Drive not the same in Windows 11

I did check Device Management and it isn't shown there, in file explorer it shows the drive under networks. The adapter just converts an ethernet plug to a usb plug, nothing special and worked fine on W10. It is just Live, not Duo, I have seen that offer but mine doesn't qualify apparently, it...
  9. WD Nas Drive not the same in Windows 11

As it is a network drive it doesn't show in Disk Management.
  10. WD Nas Drive not the same in Windows 11

Hi, The drive is connected in a USB port via an adapter which is the same way it was connected into Windows 10 PC. Yes I can log into the drive and see the two shares (as they call them) or files that I made in Windows 10 which is how I see them in Windows 10 in file explorer but files not seen...
  11. WD Nas Drive not the same in Windows 11

Yes I am sure you are right, there must be a way if it can be seen correctly in W10 Not 100% sure of model just says WD MyBook Live Personal Cloud Storage 2TB
  12. WD Nas Drive not the same in Windows 11

The Windows 10 PC is being replaced by the new Windows 11 PC so unfortunately this isn't a viable option.
  13. WD Nas Drive not the same in Windows 11

Not quite the answer I was looking for, but thanks for responding, it isn't really a waste as I can use it for backup as well as storage. Just need to be able to access from Windows 11 like I could in Windows 10.
  14. WD Nas Drive not the same in Windows 11

I have a WD Mybook Nas External drive which I had to disconnect from the internet when WD had security issues. I have since then operated the drive just for storage connected via USB to my computer running Windows 10, it showed the two shares (drives) I set up in Mybook. I could open them file...
