High all, it's been a while since 2021........ I recently had an interaction with Microsoft, my Hotmail account, which I almost never use was hacked. While they helped me fix it they turned my local login into a Microsoft login and after searching through a miasma of unnecessary and out of...

Anyone else have any non computer hobbies they'd like to share?
  4. Solved Will TPM module added to my ASUS MB solve Win 11 install?

Well just in case I have an ASUS Prime X470-Pro. Had TMP Firmware, UEFI and Secure Boot enabled in BIOs but it still wouldn't show as enabled when I ran HWiNFO64 and kept failing the test. I then converted my primary drive from MBR to GTP and everything worked, all green across the board.

Black powder shooting, living history are some of my non computer related hobbies. I'm working on a powder horn to go with the rest of my collection.
  6. Solved Do you have an PC upgrade plans??

Yeah, I'll upgrade. In about five or six years.
  7. Anyone thinking on installing Windows 11 insider on their main desktop?

Pretty sure I'm gonna wait not only for the final release to come out but I might wait six months to a year before I finally upgrade. That way most of the bugs will have been worked out.

  9. Order Placed! - (Your latest online purchase.)

Did you check in BIOs first to see if TPM was there and just not enabled?
  10. Welcome new members

  11. POLL: Does your current PC meet Windows 11 minimum requirements?

I ended up using EaseUS Partition tool to convert my MBR to GPT without losing all my data. Had to buy the pro version to do it though............ As for switching from legacy to UEFI that's done in your BIOs setup.
  12. POLL: Does your current PC meet Windows 11 minimum requirements?

I had to convert from MBR to GPT to enable UEFI Boot and Secure Boot also and now my computer passes the test (after also enabling TPM in BIOs and updating my BIOs).
