Thanks for all the help folks, i finally found that if i made photos the default for .png files i was able to see the screenshot as it should be, many thanks to all, i am not really stupid just a bit dim at times lol.

i am having real problems with this, i am trying to take a screenshot of an order receipt, the shot goes to the folder and its just when i open it its all in codel, i need some very simple instructions for this please.

where do i find file associations settings, i tried the first thing, but it still did all that code stuff like you have put on for me to see.

When i take a screenshot on my new pc, windows 11, i use the windows key and the print sreen, the shot is then found in a folder called screenshots in the files, My problem is when i go to open the shot its all in computor code, please can someone help, as i have always been ok taking...
