Amongst those on my mailing list are a handful whose email address is someone@aol.com or someone@yahoo.com. Both of these quite frequently route my emails to their spam folders. If any other addresses do the same I am not aware of it. And even with AOL and Yahoo it doesn't happen every time...

Thank you both for the explanation. That is clearly what is happening and explains the difference I see between WebMail access and Outlook access. I used to use POP3 which is why I was surprised at what was on the server - if I recall correctly I had it set to delete after 30 days or something...

Sorry to confuse things. There seems to be a few Outlook versions! Outlook 365 is what came with the Office 365 package I bought originally. Outlook (New) is one that MS seems to be pushing. To confuse things further MS now seems to refer to the lot as Microsoft 365. And if I am still confusing...
