You’re 100% correct. I just setup 5 gmail accounts on Thunderbird on a Mac Mini and had absolutely no problems whatsoever. As a matter of fact I set up multiple filters/rules for each account and they worked flawlessly unlike Outlook which never worked right in all the years I was using it.

After the 2026/02 fiasco, I'm pleased to see that KB5079473 installed without issue on my daily driver. 3 reboots and everything is working as it should. SFC and DISM Checkhealth are both OK. What an unexpected and pleasant surprise. It's really sad that this isn't the norm anymore.
